ALL WARRANTIES SHALL BE NULL AND VOID IF. The part IS TAMPERED WITH, DISASSEMBLED OR MODIFIED without written authorization. The recipient vehicle is converted from a private passenger use to commercial or fleet use, or is used for racing or other competition or off-road recreational purposes. The part's failure is caused by abuse, misuse, or modifications.
The part fails or becomes defective due to the vehicle being involved in a collision. The part is installed or operated outside the United States. We do not offer or cover any labor/installation or additional part charges obtained for any reason. The below installation checklist is not followed accordingly.
IWC is not responsible for injury or damage during or as a result of the installation of our parts. TIMING BELTS/CHAINS, THERMOSTATS, SPARK PLUGS, FLUIDS AND SEALS ARE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ITEMS AND SHOULD BE REPLACED AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION. All damage claims must be made within three days of receipt. RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION CHECKLIST FROM INDUSTRY LEADER. Determine why the original engine failure occurred and make appropriate repairs BEFORE INSTALLING A NEW ENGINE.
Ensure this engine you are purchasing is the same application as the one being replaced. Clear all computer diagnostic codes from the vehicle prior to installing. Inspect and replace gaskets & seals (front seal, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets). All crankshaft bolts that are drilled through sealant must be applied to avoid leaks.
Replace the timing belt and water pump and Install replacement sparkplugs & wires. Disable fuel/ignition before attempting to start engine. Replace engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, coolant-antifreeze. Drain excess oil and coolant from exhaust system.
If equipped with an engine oil cooler the radiator or external cooler must be replaced. Ensure the cooling system is flushed and functioning properly. Determine why the original transmission failure occurred and make appropriate repairs. Remove oil pan and replace filter, remove torque converter strap and replace front seal. Properly install and index the torque converter completely into the front pump.
Inspect and replace rear seal as needed, and change over sensors as needed. Flush the transmission cooler lines and radiator with a power flush machine or with an aerosol'Cooler Flush Kit'. This will ensure the cooling system is flowing. Clear all transmission computer codes in the vehicle prior to starting or operating. Fill the transmission with the OEM recommended fluids.
Verify the differential portion of the transmission is full of fluid. Most 4WD & some 2WD vehicles must re-learn the shift logic to the transmission after installation.
You may verify with your local dealer if a re-learn is required for your vehicle. Final sale items (20% or more), are not eligible for return.
The ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION you will be receiving from us may or may NOT include some additional accessories and extra parts. To aid in installation, your current engine and all attached accessories are to be kept except if they're damaged in which case you are required to replace them.
The installer responsible for replacing the radiator or transmission oil cooler, flush the transmission oil cooling lines, fill differential, adjust shifter mechanisms, replace external switches sensors & solenoids, replace all filters, replace all seals, replace pan gaskets and Relearn, Reset or Replace computers and clear all codes when installing a transmission. In certain types of Transmissions, the TCM (transmission controlling computer) is incorporated with the Valve body which may require the valve body to be replaced. Transfer cases are not included with transmission from AWD automobiles.
