300zx Twin Turbo engine short block USED

This is a used shortback from a 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. The motor had about 95,000 miles on it in 2003 when a camshaft failed. The cam failure had no effect on the block, pistons, etc. The bad head was removed and repaired, but in the meantime I bought and installed a used JDM engine from Japan. Since it is a turbo motor there was enough clearance between the valves and pistons that there was no damage to the pistons or cylinders. This motor has been sitting around in my garage since then. This shortblock is in pretty good shape except the number one cylinder has been honed to remove some rust in that cylinder that formed during the 20 years it sat.

The cylinder ring gaps are still within specs, so it could be run with new rings and bearings, but I would recommend having it inspected by a machine shop and overhauled if necessary. Includes standard bore block, good stock turbo pistons, rods, crankshaft, oil pump, harmonic balancer, and flexplate.
